Theme parks, tourist destinations, and sport fishing or diving companies can be advertised as being a nearby entertainment possibility, but not necessarily included in the cost of the rental.

There are other things can be offered depending on the owner and what they wish to provide to their vacation renters. Some family oriented house rentals might have strollers and baby beds for young families, or wheelchairs available for the disabled who want a vacation. Groceries can be included for additional charge and an agreement should be made as such between the vacation house owner and the renter. The essence of a vacation home is that the occupants can simply pull up in the driveway and be home for the duration of the agreed period of time.
